	They've been rescued, now they need our help.

	Meet a few of the horses from the recent Cannon County horse rescue led by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Almost Home has had the priviledge to work with HSUS and hundreds of other volunteers over the past few weeks to ensure these animals reach safety. Almost Home now has 4 of the horses in our care. 	Almost Home Animal Rescue, founded in 2004, has quickly grown into one of the area’s most respected rescue organizations. Located in Middle Tennessee, Almost Home utilizes a network of foster homes to nurture and prepare our rescues for their transition into permanent homes. A dedicated group of approximately 30 volunteers and fosters has allowed us to achieve our current success, and we depend on the kindness of people like you to continue to expand our reach into the community.

	Almost Home is proud to partner with PETCO for the "We Are Family Too" foodbank prgram, launching March 1, 2010. This program has been put in place to help families who are going through tough economic times feed their pets. 	RescueVolunteers
	We can ALWAYS use more foster homes. Simply put, more foster homes means MORE SAVED LIVES. We provide all veterinary care and preventatives; we ask that our fosters provide food and water, and LOTS OF LOVE. We also need volunteers for our monthly adoption events. Please email if you can help!
